| Pistachio Pictures is a successful UK production company launched in 1999 by Alex Boden and Susan Jacobson in London and also operating in Berlin. We focus on developing and producing commercial English language feature films for the international market. We are experienced creative and financial consultants and are members of the NPA, the Production Guild and the French-German Film Academy. Pistachio recently service-produced the pick-ups and UK post-production for DEFIANCE. We congratulate Director, Ed Zwick and Producer, Pieter Jan Brugge and the team on their many awards and nominations to date including the Academy Awards®. |
Our productions have received 100+ festival selections and awards including Best Film at the Manhattan Short Film Festival after 220 screenings in front of an audience of 50,000 in 3 continents. Other prizes include Special Jury Prize at the Funchal Film Festival, Film of the Month at the NPA and nominations for Coutts Jury Prize at BEV Film Festival and The Audience Award at the Commonwealth Film Festival, Commendations at the London Film Festival.
